This is probably why nobody takes me seriously...

Not exactly "professional", but pretty darn cool in my opinion. I read somewhere that decorating your workspace makes you feel more comfortable or something, I may have gone a little overboard though. Ah who cares, it's awesome! ^_^

P.S. I have been working on the new and improved blog background! It'll be finished within a week or so, I hope!

Rain, trams and sparrows

I just got back from my first trip to Melbourne on Saturday… It was actually the first time I went somewhere and never wanted to come back! I knew it was going to be great, but I never expected it to be THAT AWESOME! The shops were open for longer, there were people everywhere in the evenings, the buskers were better, the clothes and food were fantastic and cheap… It was like I was in another country rather than a different state. There were cute little sparrows everywhere, apparently they're pests, even the pests are better in Melbourne.

The National Gallery of Victoria was beyond belief! They even had a WHOLE ROOM FULL OF DESIGNER CHAIRS!!! I saw the Gustav Moreau exhibit and the permanent collections. And people get to go there for free whenever they want! Particularly handy, if the rain won't let up. I got the impression that this is what a major capital city is supposed to be like. It is beyond amazing and I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of how great it is!

Click here if you want to see the rest of my Melbourne albums. The Street Art and NGV albums in particular are worth checking out. Okay, I'll admit I may have gone a little crazy with the Hipstamatic.

Now to find my umbrella!

A better pic than the one that was here previously
I know I said I was going to finish updating the blog template and stuff "soon", but I'll be IN MELBOURNE FOR THE NEXT 6 DAYS! I'm packing really light, so I can bring back heaps of cool stuff and clothes. Got myself a brand new, bright orange suitcase too (on sale, by the way). When I get back, I'll post plenty of pictures of my exploits… Not that I'd really get up to anything worthy of being called an exploit!

Under construction

A picture of my room with an iPhone filter app
As you may have already noticed, there's been a bit of a change. I've switched blog templates and am currently in the process of modifying it to my liking. I'll create a new background image soon and fix up the text and so on. "Less shit" was the look I was going for... I did a test with a picture (above), and discovered it doesn't want to align to the left properly, and that it screwed my YouTube video (only on Safari though, stupid stupid Safari!). The leading is still inconsistent for larger posts, but I guess I can't have everything. Or maybe I'm just being really anal? Oh well, at least I got rid of that stupid picture border.
But anyway, just thought I might mention it... Expect more changes soon. Well, not now, it's 4am!

The Empire is coming

2011 heralds the rise of the d! Konstruct Empire! Yes, this year I'm going to start making things to sell. And yes, it's an Empire. Why? Because I say it is! Mind you, it won't exactly happen instantaneously, since making things worthy of selling does require time, but I'm not putting it off anymore. And I'm not entirely sure where to sell stuff yet. Ah whatever, I'll figure that shit out later!
